I can't wait - most especially for these first audition shows, they are my absolute fave. Later, depending upon who is getting through, I may not follow as closely.
Will be very interesting to see Steven Tyler and J-Lo to see what vibe they add to the show, and how they mesh with Randy. Hoping Jennifer doesn't get diva, and I look forward to some sweetness and humour from Steven.
At least Ryan Seacrest has stayed!
I do like the commercial they have been running, with the past winners.
The same producer who did the first seven seasons is back, and that's a good thing.
Here's the schedule of weeks to come

I'm looking forward to it but not as much as previous years. I think Steven Tyler will be fun to watch but I am NOT a big fan of J-Lo.

I'm excited -I have watched from the beginning. I hate that Simon won't be there it really won't be the same . I'm interested to see how the new judges work out. I'm always mad at the show as I watch my favs get voted and yell at the tv saying I think the show is rigged - lol -yet I still watch - ugh!

And did you hear that Ryan's contract is coming up for renewal? Wonder if he'll stay with Idol... There are rumors floating around that he could replace Regis.

Just wondering if any of you are planing on watching American Idol tonight.
I plan on watching to see what kind of judge the new ones are (Jennifer and Steven) And of course there is good old Randy, the only judge back from last season.

I won't be home tonight but I usually only watch the try outs because they are hysterical.
I would love to see how the new judges do. Jennifer Lopez is just beautiful, can't say I listen to her music though. Aerosmith on the other hand. lol, like them a lot.

I think I might but just for those that audition- some are just hilarious!
I won't watch the rest of the season because it's just not the same anymore, plus it's getting a bit old.
Then again, there are better shows on Wednesday nights (I love Modern Family!) so I guess I'll see.

I love watching the auditions! Always entertaining! Plus, I'll watch just to see what it's like without Simon.

Yeah thats one of my main reason for wanting to watch tonight, to see how it will be without Simon. I will miss him.
Yes, I know that there are other shows on tonight to watch instead,
I like that new one that started last week "Off The Map".

Well, that show was a blast - so, like, I'm totally in love with Steven Tyler! Oh, he's so very dreamy! Nah, not that - he is just SO sweet and kind, so funny, and so lovingly honest - he's quite the dude!
Jennifer was fine - though I thought at first she was making a big deal of just not being able to say No to anyone, I realized that yeah, it must be a very hard thing - and frankly it probably just takes some 'practice' to find the right words and vibe to tell people they aren't good.
Randy, same old same old.
No contestants really stood out for me, sure there were some good ones - but the auditions are always fun to watch!
