Absolutely Fuming!!! Copywrite Infringement (NASA)

NASA, you stink!!!
Low and behold we have found our photo of supermoon all over the internet with the credit of NASA...not to it's rightful owner Bill Watson, Hamilton Ontario.

How would you feel?
Yes, we are writing.
Yes we are taking screen shots.
Finding our photo all over the place, including Russia with credit to NASA!!!

What makes this worse, we are promoting Supermoon by using our own photo and being accused of stealing images from NASA. WTF!!! We have to defend what is rightfully ours.
NASA can you back up your claim?
We can prove it's ours!!

NASA takes photos on hillsides above towns? It isn't a shot through a telescope, from an observatory, or from space! It's a picture of the moon, so NASA must have taken it, right?

I asked if it was from this year too! I figured the moon was probably still a decent size last night......but tonight is supposed to be when it's at its best.

I did some googling, and any of the ones I found which were the same were credited properly. One was on a site he posted himself.

My son has photos he has taken that were used in advertising for a mountain biking company. They did not credit him either. It really is inexcusable as, like you, he had his credits on the photo when he originally posted it.

This was taken last March. It has been taken, watermarked by them after erasing our information. It was taken from Hamilton mountain. Fortunately we have the original PLUS, last year Daily Planet used it on one of their shows (with our permission) so if worse comes to worse we can obtain archive tapes from their show indicating who took it and when.

Is a news agency distributing this photo? They will pull it and issue a kill if you call them and tell them you are disputing the copyright.
