My dog is the ABSOLUTE MASTER of hide & seek
Ok I'm undecorating; in & out of the house, and every room. Up & down step stools; bringing up storage boxes from the storage room, washing costumes in the laundry room, etc., etc., etc.
All of a sudden, I realize that I haven't seen Jake for awhile. He's usually right on my heels. I search & search, calling him; in closets, under beds, behind couches, in the furnace room, inside boxes ...........
Ok, now I'm getting panicked. Did he slip outside without me noticing ? Not in the backyard. Walked down the street, checked out the park (only 3 houses away) no Jake. Now I'm really cold & scared. I decided to go door to door. Every1 knows him, & I'd just ask them to be on the lookout & leave my #.
So, after almost 1 1/2 hrs of searching, I go into the bedroom to dress more warmly & caught some movement on my bed. I'm so relieved as tears are flowing down my face, but I decide to grab the camera. This was how well he was hidden:
I guess he heard the camera, so he peeked out.
I'm just so thankful he's ok.
He's just to smart for my own good. Little bugger.Last edited by 22hicks; Sun, Nov 2nd, 2014 at 02:31 PM.

So cute! Although Jenny isn't quite as enthusiastic, whenever I start to run my shower in the morning, she's right there, sitting at the tub, expecting to be lifted in. When she has her bath, she's right there waiting to be lifted in and when in the water she's very quiet, walks around exploring the water and let's me give her a lovely bath, but once it's over, I have an excited, wet dog on my lap on a towel, dry her off as best I can, then she hops off, drags the towel off me, down the stairs with it, and rolls around on it in the livingroom....it's hysterical! We haven't been able to do that since my accident, and hubby gives her baths now, but I know she misses me and our soggy bonding time...

Lol, Andi...I just watched another one there, of the Doxie trying to wake up in the morning....Jenny is also a slow waker-upper, so when I get up in the morning, I toss the blankets over her, and she's quite happy to stay there for as long as it takes me to get ready for my coffee....same thing: much snuggles, tummy-kissings, then lifting a floppy dog off the bed, downstairs where she does her "Jane Fonda's", then outside, then back on my lap on our fluffy blanket tossed over her and here she remains .... Still...and until I decide to move....SO content. Or.....lazy?
