This is a great informative article about your dog's tongue and how you can monitor it for many other health issues. . . hopefully to find out about anything sooner rather than later. . .

I have a cat who I swear thinks he's a dog. I'm even contemplating getting a dog just to see how similar they would be!

A beagle pup moved in next door! My hubby called to me this morning saying I should come to the door and I was in my nightgown and housecoat, but I did...and omg...there, in the next house (we share a driveway) was a 9-week old beagle pup! Didn't take me but a second to run over and hoist that little fella into my arms...he still had puppy breath! And a big 'ol tummy, which I'd have kissed if it wasn't a "he" ... lol ... omg....how innocent, how trusting, how absolutely perfect!!
That was my other choice until I found our little Jenny...the love, the joy of my daily life. Yes, family...but minute to minute...it's Jenny...

OUr last fur-kid was a collie/border collie cross..cinnamon and white...regal, an "old soul", unlike our Jenny we have now...Collies are absolutely lovely....barking is fine...Jenny will bark when she seen someone on the street or heaven-forbid delivering mail...I just tell her, "not stealing, Jenny....be nice...all gone..." and she accepts the fact that whoever was threatening us with their presence...she managed to successfully discourage...
Too adorable...
