Since I have the photos now, I thought I'd post them here, too...I took Jenny to the vet this morning because she's been constantly licking her right back paw; turns out it's an allergy-related small raspberry-like bump that should go away by itself in a couple of months. She got an antibiotic shot to stall any impending infection and stall what's there now. I'm to continue applying the cortisone cream we have and giving her Benedryl.
The vet suggested a baby sock, so I went to the buck store and ended up with this.
Or....Jenny ended up with it. Cream, sock, tape, sock. She doesn't complain anymore but oh, the little whimpers in the beginning....
So here she is: Jenny With Sock. Looking as pathetic as she can manage.


She did manage to walk over to her dinner...chicken, roast beef and the dog food her Daddy prepares for her

So, Walks...how on earth can one possibly not give treats to that pup? Not pick her up whenever she asks? Not give her more room on the bed than I have? Seriously! She pulls that face all the time...the hangy-down ears, big eyes...just pathetic. Irrisistibly pathetic.

You know that is exactly how our 2 dogs are when DD comes in the door from work or school. They dash over to her, she drops flat on the floor with them both and they exchange baby talk ( well SHE talks ) but they roll around, snuggle, hide their faces in her arms, like a real love fest and she has not even got her shoes off yet. Then she asks them about their day.....( I send them psychic messages NOT to tell her if I have only walked them once that day )
Rufus used to play hard to get before we got Hamlet ( cat ) and would expect her to go grab him up in her arms, but these days he does NOT want Hamlet getting any of her love so he tries to block the cat from joining in!!

That's so sweet @walkonby . I love it. It sound just like Jake is with me when I get home. He wants and gives so much loving; he get so excited, he starts letting out these little squeals. As @Lynn49 said, how can you not pick them up, give them all the love you can.

Hahaha! That slobber is mild. Remember the movie Turner and Hooch? Ya, slobber on your clothing, furniture, car.......EVERYWHERE! I woke up from a drowning nightmare only to find Jaeger had just had a drink and was cleaning my face.
