No Frills is having there dollar days here. Just into week one and crazy busy. So busy buying and stacking that I have not been on line much so missed your posts. You're doing great. I am stocking up so I can start making baskets for the shelters here. You are an inspiration.

I volunteered in a food bank for a while and one thing that they we always short of were personal items. They were handing out boxes of kleenex instead of toilet paper as people hadn't donated those items. Diapers and sanitary pads were always on the wanted list as well. As at the end of the day, we all need to keep clean no matter how little money we have.

I belong to another forum as well (in addition to this one) so with the coupon tips i've learned on here. and a challenge we had set on the other forum..my hubby and I donated two full boxes of baby food and health and beauty items.. the lady was ASTOUNDED.. she said you have NO idea how badly we need these items.. it felt great.. just a little goes a long way.. we don't have the space to store alot. so instead were going to try and do monthly drop offs.. and as the other forum also has monthly dinners out.. thinking of asking them if they want to combine it a little and have a donation added to the dinner out. then will take it the next day to the shelters. I think all of us SC'ers deserve a round of applause. YAY. !!
