Disappointing Loblaws Trip (post-it problems...)

I was so prepared for this weekend's great deals! Metro! Loblaws! No Frills! I was determined to hit them all...so last night I spent a good hour going through my coupons, making my lists, organizing them so I didn't have to rummage through my binder at the store...

In all that preparation, I didn't even think about what would happen next!

I had put post-its on each paper-clipped group of coupons for each store...well when I got to Loblaws this AM I went to give them my coupons and the cottonelle (insert, $1) the post-it had taken off the expiry date! They wouldn't accept it!!!

So sad...those cottonelle coupons are so valuable, darn it!

Beware the post-it all you organizers!

yes, I've had post-its ruin a couple too. They are way too sticky for our coupons!! lol

I bought some "zipper" bags from the $ store from the craft section. They're smaller than the sandwich bags and are perfect for coupons. There are a lot in the package and only cost $1.00.
I also use them to store craft materials.

That's so smart! I will do that next time, take out or my coupons that I'm planning to use and ziploc it!

I love the coupon binders that fit in my purse too!!! But the problem is I wanted to distinguish which coupons were for what store...maybe I could write with permanent marker on the separators in the binders...

anyways I am glad it isn't just me that has made this mistake
