I know I have posted this before, but I love this poem:
Birdie, birdie in the sky.
Dropped some whitewash
In my eye.
I'm a big girl,
I don't cry.
I'm just lucky,
Cows don't fly.

Two mourning doves "gracefully" trying to sit on my wee feeder at the same time.
Very interesting watching them eating ,while trying to not peck each others head off.(Kinda like my dinner table sometimes!)

My resident crows Charlie & his companion Sue, squacking at one of my cats (her eating grass) totally ignoring the crows, I had just fed them and they wanted to eat. It was quite a site and sound

The swans and their little 4 little ones are quite beautiful to watch

No Skippy.. right on the river. On my balcony, I have a great
view (with the help of my binoculars heh heh) but occasionally
they will swim closer and you can see them and the geese
and their little ones down by the river. They stay away fron the
open water as there are tugboats, sailboats & tour boats.
We have a park right across the street where you can sit and
enjoy it; very peaceful and relaxing.'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'

yesterday I saw 3 Blue Jays & 2 doves in the yard. Today at 5:45am I woke up to mother racoon with 4 babies trying to swat at the robin's nest from the shed roof...I guess that explains why the nest keeps falling and I can see only 1 blue egg left.
