Did you know that Saskatchewan is one of the most important provinces in the world right now? Very powerful people in teh world, including Hollywood and George Soros badly want to influence policy in this province. What concerns me, is that the premier has been invited to the secret Bilderberg meeting.

Brad Wall to rub shoulders with world leaders at Bilderberg conference

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskat...rg-130603.html

Not surprisingly, this happens just a year after Wall declined to sell Sask potash interests to George Soros groups. Potash is highly desired, and the XL keystone is something Billionaires have spent millions to stop from being done. <<<--- and failed... I saw the pipelines being unloaded by train last week in SW Sask.

Politicians are just opportunists, they change parties like they change their underwear. He should be made to run in a by-election though.

I also hate politicans who cross the House to join another party and expect to remain in the same position..it smacks of being dishonest if not fraudulent to the voters...

"Hey..i voted J Smith cos he was a XParty"
    J Smith crosses the floor..

"Bummer J Smith was always a YParty and lied to us..."

After Katrina, voters of African decent soured on democrats in Louisiana... even voted a republican in a African majority district. In the rural south, African voters in many place vote as high as 25% republican... so I do sense a shift in attitude. Would not surprise me, if African American voters outside the inner city, become competitive votes sooner, rather than later.

Liberal member of Parliament Bob Rae has announced he is stepping down from his job as member of Parliament representing the riding of Toronto Centre.
Rae made the announcement in Ottawa Wednesday, a day after MPs voted to adjourn for the summer break.

In a press conference with Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau in the foyer of the House of Commons, Rae said that work as a lawyer and mediator was taking more and more of his time and he felt he needed to focus on his role with the First Nations.

Rae recently accepted the role of chief negotiator for First Nations in talks with the Ontario government about development of the Ring of Fire, and is to tour the nine Matawa communities in the mining and resource-rich area of Northern Ontario this summer.

Interesting, I had not heard about the work he was now doing for the First nations. Good luck with that.

Navy bans vets from wearing uniforms

Posted By: Andrew Peplowski [email protected] · 6/20/2013 8:10:00 AM

Look for a verbal war to break out between the Canadian Navy and naval veterans.

The issue is a June 13th directive from navy commander Vice Admiral Paul Maddison prohibiting veterans from wearing their uniforms while attending ceremonial and public functions such as Remembrance Day services.

Postmedia News says the navy already has a policy that requires veterans who want to wear their uniforms to seek permission, but it's never been enforced.

The directive was apparently prompted by a Battle of the Atlantic memorial held at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa in May, where a number of retired admirals attended in their mess uniforms upsetting some serving officers.

RCMP launches probe into Mac Harb, expands Mike Duffy investigation

The RCMP is treating Sen. Mike Duffy’s improper expense claims as an alleged breach of trust, and has widened its investigation into the Senate expense scandal to include Senators Mac Harb and Patrick Brazeau, court documents show.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The only senator I have met personally when I was in Ottawa many moons ago. Attempted very hard to be a good listener.

This is already posted in contests, but I thought it deserved a newsy mention as well.

Why in the world would the Liberals hold such a contest? Uh, besides them encouraging donations, even though they say you don't have to donate to enter...

Why not hold a contest? Better than a $10,000 a plate dinner.
