What, so called, childrens shows do you refuse to let your children watch?

There are so many! All for the same reasons. I don't like the way they talk in the shows. Using words like "stupid" and "you idiot". I don't allow name calling and my children are so young and impressionable. (2 and 4 yrs old)
My son was watching Rug Rats one day and that Angelica (or whatever that blond girls name is) called one of the babies a "Stupid baby"
Boy... did I have a time getting him to stop calling his sister that. :?
Tree house programing is, for the most part, "clean" in what they show.
Same with TVO kids.
But if a show comes on that I don't agree with off goes the TV.
Tutinstine is another one I won't let them watch.

My girls get treehouse or boomerang, that is the only channels they are allowed to watch without asking me. They do sometimes watch CSI with me, they both love it, but if it is too graphic I turn it off.

I won't let my kids watch Caillou, his manners are horrible and he is a whiney spoilt brat who disrespects his elders!!! :o

I won't let baby J. watch Lilo and Stitch... The little girl doesn't take responsibility for her behaviour. She always blames the alien and then she gets away with it.
He's never watched Calliou or Rugrats or any of those either.... but that's cause I hadn't seen them and now I don't intend to.
He can watch Sesame Street, Between the Lions, Zoboomafoo and a few select other shows.

I know I am a bad mom about CSI but sometimes I need an hour of peace to my self and let the girls watch TV on the other set, but they usually end up coming down and watching with me.

I don't know how old your girls are, but you might be able to use it as a teaching tool... or maybe talk about it and say - this is how they catch the bad guys. I personally wouldn't want to be talking with baby J about that stuff until he's much older though.

My girls are 5 and 7. They are very interested in how they catch the bad guys and the way they check evidence. I know all of the information is not correct but it does help. It is not like we sit down everyday and watch it either, they usually just catch a little bit here and there.

We pretty much rotate shows on Treehouse, TVOKids, and CBCKids, but I do not allow Caillou, telebubbies or that other one with the rainbow kooshball like characters.. I used to let him watch Sesame Street until I came across baby bear... not sure if I want him learning improper speech sounds :-k

The one show I will not let in my house is....
BARNEY!
I'm sorry, but there is something about that purple dinosaur that has always bugged me.
