RIP, he really was a legend in the legal community - and broader than that, too.

Luise Rainer dies aged 104
Actress Luise Rainer, who became the first winner of consecutive Oscars in the 1930s, has died at the age of 104.
The German-born star was named best actress in 1936 and 1937 - a feat achieved by only five actors in Academy Awards history to date.
Her achievement made her a force in the golden age of Hollywood cinema, but was also a curse, making her last major film in 1943.
She settled in London and made occasional appearances on film and TV.
Rainer appeared in US small screen series The Loveboat in 1984, while her last substantial film role came in 1998, playing opposite Michael Gambon and Dominic West in The Gambler.
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Gilmore Girls patriarch Edward Herrmann died on Wednesday, following a battle with brain cancer. He was 71.
His extensive TV resume also includes — but is by no means limited to — The Good Wife (where he recurred as defense attorney Lionel Deerfield), Harry’s Law, Grey’s Anatomy, Oz, St. Elsewhere, a guest-starring run on The Practice (for which he won an Emmy) and, most recently, ABC’s Black Box. He also narrated numerous programs for the History channel and portrayed President Franklin Delano Roosevelt twice in TV-movies (as well as in 1982’s Annie).
On Broadway, Herrmann collected two Tony Award nominations, winning in 1976 for his role in George Bernard Shaw’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession, while his film credits include The Paper Chase, Harry’s War and The Lost Boys.
Herrmann is survived by his second wife (of 22 years), Star, and a total of five children.

Christine Cavanaugh -- the original voice of "Babe" the pig and Dexter from "Dexter's Laboratory" -- has died at the age of 51.
Cavanaugh passed away on December 22nd ... the details surrounding her death are unclear.
Christine's work is legendary ... providing the voice of countless iconic cartoon characters including Chuckie the red-headed baby from "Rugrats."
She also voiced characters from "Darkwing Duck," "Aladdin," "The Critic," "The Powerpuff Girls" and "The Wild Thornberrys."
Cavanaugh retired from voice acting in 2001. Her character in "Rugrats" was replaced by Nancy Cartwright -- who's most famous for voicing Bart Simpson.
RIP - that "Babe" voice gets me every time...

Oh, RIP, Elly May...

I always liked her, and her 'critters'.
Wow, I didn't know this - LOVED that episode:
Douglas starred in one of the most memorable episodes of Rod Serling’s “The Twilight Zone” – titled “Eye of the Beholder,” it was the one in which her head is wrapped in bandages for most of the half-hour after plastic surgery aimed at fixing her “ugliness,” which in fact was beauty in a universe of monsters. And she starred opposite Elvis Presley in the 1966 movie “Frankie and Johnny.”
Such a sweet scene

RIP Don.

He had a serious theatre career before going into comedy.
His humour was sarcastic and political oftentimes, which I appreciated.
Absolutely loved Hee-Haw!
I'll button my sweater crooked tomorrow, in honour of Charlie...
