I was extremely nervous about going to Pharmasave yesterday after reading about some of the issues others were having with their double coupon promotion. I knew if I didn't try I would wonder "what if" for the next week. So we programed our gps and drove to Barrie (about 30 minutes from me) to go to the closest one. Both of the stores in Barrie are pretty small so I wasn't sure if they would even have anything or not. We pulled into the parking lot and they had posters in the windows promoting the double coupon days!!!! I then breathed a sigh of relief. So i got out the the car and went to work. (their carts were way to small to even hold my coupon binder!) I walked down every aisle looking at prices and looking through my binder (like any other sc'er would do) I filled the tiny cart and off to the cashier we went. I asked the girl at the cash if she wanted my coupons with each product. she said no at the end would be better. So she rang in all my items and then took my coupons. At this time all my things were bagged. The only thing she looked at the coupons for was the amount. she added the amount for all of them up and it came to $49. (she did not look for expiry, sizes, proper product size, or even the price I paid for the product.) She pushed the coupon button and put in $49 2x for a total coupon usage of $98. Here is what I got:

4x HS shampoo - sale price 5.99 -2.50 coupon (2x)= .99 each

2x biore face cleanser - sale price 8.19 - 4.00 coupon (2x) = .19 each...

2x contact solution - sale price 6.99 - 3.00 coupon (2x) = .99 each
total bot both 1.98
1x contact solution - sale price 6.99 - 5.00 coupon (2x) = +3.01
1x dove body wash - sale price 4.99 -2.00 coupon (2x) = .99
2x ricola drops - sale price 1.79 - 1.00 coupon (2x) = +.21 each
total for both +.42
4x Buckleys complete - sale price 5.99 - 3.00 coupon(2x) = +.01
total for all 4 +.04

subtotal 2.99
tax 13.13
total OOP 16.12

Wow I didn't know they did that in Ontario. I never get a Pharmasave flyer, but there's a store not too far from me. I'll have to check it out more often.
