Some of the pain from my misaligned neck vertebrae has diminished. Enough for me to sleep a few hours per night again. It's just a matter of time before the rest of the pain lessens, as the misalignment forms another new groove.
    Thanks for your prayers.

Pain again/still, stayed out too long. Trying to do some work too.
I wish my tolerance level was greater than it is.
    Prayers most welcome.
Help everyone else is O.K., as the posts are few which is a good sign.

I am just new to this site. I have suffered with chronic nerve pain for the last eleven years. The pain is due to an injury that occurred while working as a homecare aid for an MS patient. The pain is in both of my arms and hands and shoulders. I am having great difficulty in dealing with the day to day challenges of the pain and I have even begun struggling with depression and anxiety. I guess I'm just needing someone to talk to who can relate and encourage me.

Welcome to the thread, although I truly wish there were no need for such a thread & pain was a non-issue for all.

Feel free to vent all you want, that's why we're here - to support each other.

Long story short, I have a dull ache all over (spent 2 yrs in casts when I broke the 9/10 bones in my feet cause my calcium got messed up during dialysis). I also have arthritis in my hands (early stages) which flares up in the winter. I started making jewelry last spring to keep my fingers limber & I use yoga-type breathing exercises to deal with the pain (so far it's working, although there are a few not so good days). I also have critters (Lily dog & Quincy cat) who help me out. Well, the cat is lazy, so he refuses to do housework, but the dog tries to earn her treats (she picks things up off the floor, opens doors & helps me up when I fall down).

If you need someone to talk to, feel free to PM me.

Fortunately I do not have that problem, perhaps someone else can help you.

I don't have that problem, although one of my meds makes one prone to that (pharmacist suggested a few things when I first started taking the meds - coffee, milk, & especially lots of water).

Skippy, I've been praying much for you yesterday and today. I figured your scan would be really painful. I've had some experience with scans, and with back pain from misaligned discs, that hard metal scanning enclosure is really awful to endure for that length of time. Glad that part is over for you now. Try not to worry; just take things one day at a time, and try to focus on the ordinary things of each day.
    God Bless.
