Clicking the DEALS link on this site's Blog/landing page USED to take you to the Deals forum... now it takes you a tiled sponsor page. My muscle memory has had me doing this now for over a week, and I'm STILL cursing it for the change.

My MIL gave me $200 to buy the kids presents and I can't think of anything they need, and they can't think of anything they want either.

Trying to figure out how to get an iphone for DD for Christmas. It's not the cost of the phone but the ridiculous monthly payments that are the problem. Life would be so much simpler if she preferred android, like the rest of us. But noooo.... she has to be different. Even without a data plan the price is stupid.

A regular library user came in with his Timmies coffee and baked treat. He never cleans the coffee rings or crumbs after he enjoys his coffee break at a computer. I can tell by the evidence he has left at other computers. Reason I love Lysol wipes in winter!

I need to order something from Amazon (only place I can find it within Canada) but cannot think of anything to add to the order to get it Free Shipping.
Darn my trying to purge my house which is making me think for every item, do I really need it? The answer always seems to be No2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I read a 1st world solution in an article I loved. It was about a 3rd grade teacher who taught children how to apologize.

So, I have two suggestions:
1.) If you havent in the past year... sign up for a free Prime Trial, and then get your item shipped for free (no minimum). Be sure to then go and "cancel" the auto-renew so it doesnt charge you after the free month. This is assuming you dont live in Quebec (because they dont have a free trial option, just get an extra month added)
2.) check out one of the various filler-item websites: such as https://www.shopfiller.com/
Key in the dollar amount you need... pick the .ca from the pull down list... and you can browse all kinds of cheap stuff you dont need, but that will give you exactly the cost to push you over the free shipping threshold. Regardless if you want the item or not, if it's cheaper than the shipping cost without it, might as well get a door stop, or bag of screws, or ball of yarn, or... you get the idea.Last edited by bhlombardy; Fri, Jan 12th, 2018 at 08:06 PM.
