Ever find an amazing product or item of any type, and you used to tell everyone about it, how great it was and how you didn't know how you ever got on without it before, only to wake up one morning and it was gone. You have looked high and low for it, in every store you used to purchase it in but yep...thats right, it's gone ! Banished and never to be seen again, not even in those AS SEEN ON TV stores

What was your item? Mine was DD7. I used to watch the infomercials, and think ya right, just another piece of crap. Then one day I need to try something different for a stain on my carpet. I had tried absolutely everything including the lighter fluid trick, but to no avail. Not sure where I even purchased it but that DD7 worked wonders. I got so many people hooked on it. Only came in a small tube, but it sure went a long way.

I remember that fateful day when I looked in several store, but it had disappeared to be found nowhere I just thought that perhaps to many people found out about my dirty little secret, and now they had no dirty little staind. But alas, I was wrong. I huntede high and low for weeks on end, hell I even had my stepmom in Ontario mail me out several tubes she had found hiding on a store shelf.

When I used up the last of my stash, still no more DD7 in my city. Went to mty backup plan, but this time the backup plan failed too OMG, whats a girl to do???? Back to the old lighter fluid, but to this day, I still miss my DD7

I miss the Pink Solution that you used to get at Costco. It came in a pail, and you could either mix it with water or use it straight. It was so great for getting stains out of everything! It was hard to find, as it was only available for short periods during demonstrations, and I haven't seen it for about 5 years!

fruity pebbles...That cereal ROCKED! I remember getting it as a kid then it all of a sudden disappeared. Apparently they have it in the states but no longer in Canada

Mountain Dew energy (was caffeinated mountain dew, but it was an AWESOME energy drink)
Maple Leaf all beef bologna (my kids liked the taste of that, and DH and I have checked all the grocery stores in a 50 km radius and havent found it).

I know its all food related but all my cleaning stuff is probably never gonna get pulled (comet cleaner, pine sol, tide, palmolive, etc...)

OMG! McD's pizza with the spicy sausage balls or whatever they were on it. Those were the only things I have ever loved from McD's. I was devastated when they stopped selling them!

You used to be able to buy delissio-style pizzas (I think they were called "Healthy Harvest") with whole-wheat crusts and in a size that fit in a toaster oven, about 1/2 to 2/3 the size of a standard frozen pizza. Being able to use the toaster oven saved me heating up a tiny apartment in hot, hot summer weather when I got home late from work and needed an instant meal treat. I couldn't afford them often as I didn't have a lot of money as a student, but they were a nice treat. One day, they just disappeared, and I even had a sample lady/promotional clerk argue with me and tell me they never existed, even though I had bought one less than a month before!

I have never found a fully suitable alternative with a whole wheat crust and the simplicity needed for DH to get it ready for the nights when I'm home late (he often needs a rest after work, so the bar is pretty low for his cooking on weeknights), and this still drives me mad to this day!

Does anyone see these anywhere? They are awesome, especially the peanut butter ones, and so are the marshmallow ones.
Used to buy them three for a dollar - heck, I'd pay more just to have them again! I've only seen them online at US stores.

Johnson and Johnson used to make a lotion with milk protein in it. They discontinued it . I wrote to them pleading for more and they recommended me their naturals brand which is not even close to the same results and goes bad right away! Those bumps on my arms had completely vanished with that previous cream

hollyquaiscer, your post brought back memories of my favorite carpet stain remover was about 15 years ago now......I don't recall what it was named however it came in a round cardboard tube and was like an "eraser" that you pushed out from the bottom and "erased" the stains. I used to have light grey carpets and it worked on all the stains. I miss it and could sure use it now

Yes those pizzas were good! We used to only get them when they were on sale. My parents wouldn't let us eat anything with white crust so these were the only boxed pizzas we usually got!
