Well doing my shopping at Save-on-Foods in Edmonton l was very organized and had all the stacks of coupons for each item on the products. The cashier was impressed with that. So as each customer came to her till l will tell them that they probably want to go to another till as l have coupons and will be awhile. So an elderly gentleman(loosely said) came up to the till and l told him about me using coupons but he said he it was okay, so l said okay and went on with my order. Well after about 5 minutes of waiting he gets very upset and starts complaining about me using coupons and taking up his time to save a couple of dollars. l turned to him and said nicely that l told him to go to another till and that he decided to stay. Well he starts to throw his groceries into his basket still nattering at me. l was afraid that he might start throwing stuff at me. Well l was finished before he got thru this till but l got the last laugh as l saved over $250. in that shopping trip. The cashier was great and l knew she couldn't say much at all but was great with me

l was thinking of it but like l said l was some what afraid that he might hit me with something so l never. l was with my mother-in-law who is in her 70ths so l didn't want to make a scene with her

I hate getting stares/comments from people. If they aren't happy waiting for us, they should move over to the other cashes, as you've suggested. Better yet, they should shut take notes...maybe they could then appreciate the time and effort that it takes us to find those coupons. So...LET US coupon in peace and kindly shuddddap

At SOF, when a have a large order and stacks of coupons.

I first go to customer service and tell them about my many stacks of coupons and I ask "what till should I go to" and
"you might want to close the till behind me to prevent other customers from getting mad".

I also highlight the Xdate and any wording with my yellow highlighter... it helps the cashiers.

who cares thats the attitude i have taken now -i am so tired of people huffing behind me or stating comments like what do you save a buck or two-i know tell everybody behind me this might take awhile i have coupons and i am price matching-and i dont even stack-wish we could-that way you are giving them a chance to leave or stay-i would rather save my hard earned money than spend it

happens to me all the time. just the other day I was using $20 airmiles gc at Rona and the cashier wasn't quite sure how to process it, and everyone behind me was rolling their eyes and glowering at me, as opposed to being mad at Rona management for having only one cashier out and all other registers closed. poor cashier was so flustered too, I felt bad.

sometimes I wonder why do all the stores bother with installing 10 registers if they're never ever gonna have all of them going at the same time. I used to shop at winners all the time, but then they reconfigured the cash registers to have like 10 of them but only a couple manned, making people stand in long lineups exposed to the little trinkets in line, and now I never go there anymore, the line up to pay just annoys me sooo much.

Strangely enough, I normally only have problems with a few local couponers who b!tch about having to wait behind me
