My Dad - He died in 1983 from a work related type of cancer. He was a special Daddy to me. I wish he had lived to meet my children. I have his love with me.

Went for the job interview at Timmys and got the baking job. Start video training wed at 11.30am and then 2-3 weeks on the job training. 45 hours a week full time and shifts will mostly be 3am to noon which is good for me. As the interview went longer and longer I knew it was a good sign lol and wound up being about 1 1/2 hours long.

Thanks, Loocie. He retired at 57 in 1977 after 38 years of being a teacher and administrator. He lasted just a while enjoying time off - and started a whole new world of studying to become a Deacon, and was ordained in 1979. He loved it, and they wanted him to go on and become a priest, but he would have had to go to Rome to study, and he would not leave us to do that.
He was a very special man and dad.
What an absolutely wonderful photo! My son didn't get to know his Dido, either...
Glad we both had such amazing fathers!

Morning! Cool, cloudy day here, but Hubby finally took another day to join his group to play 9 holes this morning....not long, but a breath of fresh air for him instead of thinking of me all day. Hope the weather holds out for them
Happy day, everyone...enjoy that Sunshine, Nat! I hope you can get out in it for a while...carpe diem, right?

Morning everyone. Looks like it will be a hot and sunny day here
I've got to head off to the store to pick up a few groceries. Poor dh, made him dinner last night and the plate looked pretty bare....a piece of salmon, a stuffed potato and no veggies to speak of, a lonely pile of cucumbers (which I also fed him the night before).
I had to get rid of the dust that partied all month while we were gone, now its safe to add food LOLWe all need a little sunshine every now and then

Ugh, it can be so hard to work from home...I did it for a number of years for a national company; there are so many distractions....Sunshine, tv, refrigerator, shopping....
I hope you get through it....best advice I got was to get out of my jammies and get dressed for work.....not that I actually did that, but I thought it was pretty good advice.
