Good morning!

Wow, I hope I'm not alone here for longer than these three days....

Had a lovely weekend here, and very nice weather yesterday - which will be around for a few days, then it dips back down, then back up again - so typical for this time of year... but frustrating.

Milan came over yesterday to install the printer stuff, so that was nice to have it done. He's done a great job with it all, I can even do some things I couldn't before - like print coupons from the save site.
Getting a new mouse today - so I'll be able to scroll again! You don't realize how much you miss it/use it until you can't!

Good morning! I've got Avon's hubby's surgery on my mind and in my prayers...it should be starting now. I'll be nervous...I'm teary-eyed right now...until I hear from her that it all went well....then his recovery...We're all so fortunate right now...........

However, to celebrate March, today I absolutely will stuff little Jennifur into her yellow slicker and post a pic for you...sorry it's been slow in coming, Dan... She has a vet appt this afternoon for her rabies shot and spring check-up, so she won't be just standing at the door in her slicker wondering why I'm not letting her out!

Our Grandson won this month's little contest for being considerate and having "empathy"....I have no idea how empathy is determined in grade 1, but if anyone's got it, he sure does!!
On the flip side, his snow pants have disappeared in school.....just TRY finding a pair now! However, this Baba will try phoning stores to try!

Oh. And Jenny was none too pleased when asked to model her slicker...she's not wearing her "I'm so pretty" face...more like her, "why am I standing here in this thing and not outside" face.




...pardon the shmutsy door rug...can't seem to keep it tidy this time of year...
That tummy strap used to {{{cough}}} fit right to the top of the white velcro part....but we'll be walking again soon and we will both be relatively svelte again!!

Hope that put a smile on your face and cheered up our little sick guy....

This is more her usual pose...not her "why am I in this thing and not out the door!" pose....in her chair, with her stairs, in the sunshine. I've never seen a little black dog search out patches of sunlight like this little girl!!

Sigh...I just noticed all the paw prints on the side of the chair....they're gone now, this was taken this past Christmas.......

Thank you, Nat...oh, it IS soft! People are so surprised when they pet her! I guess they think that a short coat means that it's rough, but she's as silky as well...silk! Honestly, when she's on my lap I can't keep my paws off her and she'll take all the snuggles and petting that anyone can hand out! I wrap her in our sherpa blanket like a baby and she's quite content to stay there for quite a long while. Of course, we've never told our baby that she's adopted....

Aw, Jenny seems to have an attitude on eh? I can see the no walking has plumped her up some ( she is no different than us I guess ) but as always sweet beyond description!! MMMMWWWHHAA! ( that was my attempt at blowing her a kiss)

Well, I tried Tylenol Nighttime to help me sleep last night - drat, didn't work, I only slept two hours.
However, I will give it another try.

Dan, thank you....she's such a joy...a big personality in a little doggie! And I did tell her it was all your fault....I wasn't about to take the blame for wrapping her up like a yellow burrito!
Dan, if it's the cold my hubby has, it's been two wretched weeks of it, so far! I hope that's not the case with you...it's one thing to feel that yucky when retired, but not when you're out working. Nothing worked, either....between his cold and my bronchial flu, we've been quite the pair for the past few weeks!

Were you able to go to work today?

A nice sunny day, heading to -7....spring is on it's way! I thought snow was on it's way, but perhaps we got lucky and it passed over or under us, which is often the case here.
