Hello every1.
It's been a VERY long day @ the vets for us.
It's just starting to rain a little here. I hope you've all had a good day.

Good afternoon!
I just woke up from a nap...I guess the stress and PAIN from having those staples out this morning wiped me out, but the good news is...IT'S ALL OVER!!! But the healing...and physio..!!! Omg, it was so painful...I asked if they had a topical spray to help with the pain...nope. I suspect it's the costs involved...geez, I should have offered to pay for the whole can myself!!!
But it's over and I can now concentrate on healing and walking like a "homo sapien" as our DD puts it.
Lovely dinner out with the family last night for SIL's b'day..I painted a card for him and did they ever love it! Even our DD who's quite discerning in her tastes...yay! That's 2 cards painted...this may become a very nice hobby!!
Pouring rain this morning, drizzly all day, but the grass and gardens really needed it.
Have a lovely evening, everyone!!!

The worst IS over Lynn, but ouch. I remember having staples removed after abdominal surgery. The pain was so bad, I was sweating so badly, that you'd think I had jumped into a pool. But cheers to healing now. Better days are ahead for you, starting tomorrow.
Oh, congrats to the success of your painted cards. Kudos.

Oh Lynn! I am really feeling sorry for the pain you described in having the staples removed. I have never experienced that. Try to rest until physio begins. The painted cards you do up sound lovely and so personal!

Lynn, I can't believe they didn't use anything whilst doing that - even when I had stitches removed from my knee after surgery, my sister used cream - I think it was lidocaine.
Wishing you all the best on your road to recovery!
