so far a great morning here.. had the boys up and out early. thanks to their dad he stopped in to home to pick up his keys on the way to work. good thing. then i started cleaning up our room and found two things i've been going crazy looking for for a few days. and months. so happy.
showered and breakfast before 9 am. wow.
a few more things to do today. kinda gloomy out. at least it'll warm up.

well, I need to order heating oil for the house and I am unhappy about it since it's such a large lump sum - I of course have the money set aside but I don't do equal billing because they think we use way more than we actually do and it's out of our pockets for too long until they realize at the end of the winter that we don't use that much. I also got my property taxes bill yesterday... even with putting my monthly payments aside for a lump sum when the bills come due, my gosh do I hate paying those large bills. $800 here, $1100 there... ICK!

That used to be us. Our old house was HORRIBLE. Big old country house with lots of holes for heat to escape. We replaced all the windows when we moved in and DH insulated the entire basement but it still wasn't enough. The first winter we used FOUR tanks of oil in addition to burning wood in the wood stove (it was going pretty much all the time).

This house has equal billing and is natural gas. We still have a wood stove so we'll be using that too, just wont have to keep it going all the time. Plus of course this house is much newer and heat efficient.

Ohhh I miss having a wood stove!! We switched to a pellet stove a few years ago and it's just not the same

that's my DH every morning. he gets back in bed with me to give me kissies and tell me he loves me right before he leaves for work.

man, I have to say my lady is spoiled...

i get up first...shower and come back for a quick cuddle to wake her up...
she hops in the shower and gets ready for work...
i make breakfast and lunches for two, pack it all for the day, have her things ready for work (her bag, shoes, paperwork and such) all before she's done getting ready...
she come out and have breakfast with me...and then finishes up getting ready...
i do the morning dishes...and we're out the door...
