Oh my Nat; I just got caught up, and I'm so distressed about Taffy wandering off. No wonder you're so worried, scared, and upset, I know I would be. All I can do is pray she comes back safely. I'm joining the others in sending positive vibes. :(

Well, no Taffy - did the rounds of the neighbourhood a few times again, Milan stopped by again.
Checked in again at the SPCA, postings on Kijiji, reddit, and FB - nice comments from people, but no sign of her.
We have a quilt out front which she sleeps on, at the back my winter coat which she's slept on all summer, lol!
I kept the tears away until Milan said how much she misses her, too -
Ok, trick or treaters spotted across the street, it's just about 4:30 here, so it's about the time I expected some to come.

Her new boyfriend is a fine man who has not left her side. He literally watches every breath she is taking. They ran into some complications yesterday afternoon so we wound up staying until after 8:00pm. It was a very long day for everyone.
Her mother (my aunt) and I actually giggled a lot on the ride there and back, remembering fun stories from our childhood. She certainly needed the break from all the seriousness of the situation. Funny, how two people can live through the same event and come away with different memories - each from their own perspective. She remembered, for example, being asked by my mother (her sister-in-law) what she would like as a gift. She said she had really liked a blouse that I had and my mum bought a matching one for her. She said she wore it "forever" she liked it so much! She said that we were even in a picture together, both wearing the same blouses.
We are watching the world series. No trick-or-treaters here.

Just hoping that Taffy follows some of those Trick-or-Treaters right back to your door, Nat! My parent's cat went missing one summer when they were at their summer trailer site. They kept going back week after week when they went back to school, hoping she would show up. On the last day that the park would be open, THEY FOUND HER! Her name was Boots. Their next cat was called Taffy!
