Did you watch The Westminster Dog Show? There are more breeds of dogs than I have ever heard of! Some really lovely animals although I hate how they groom some of them. The shihzhu looked so ridiculous! The handler just finished brushing it as it was about to be judged and it gave a big old shake and messed everything up as if to say, "Will you LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"
The final judge of "Best in Show" was from Toronto.

I love watching the W. Dog Show - hoping to catch up with some of it this weekend. I love watching the dogs on their little run - like the ones who look like mops who can barely keep up, they are so funny!

@avoncallingu - no, I didn't know it was on. I really wanted to watch it this year.

@Natalka - Does it run every day for the week, or because they've had the 'best in show' already, is it over ?
I caught a bit of it last year, and was shocked @ how many breeds that I've never heard of. There was on who looked like it had dreadlocks, too funny.
Last year's best in show was a beagle, so ….

It was held the 15/16, but usually on the weekend after, it's on some sports channel - I don't remember which, but I'd usually watch it on a weekend aft.

Had my appt. with the surgeon this morning. Well, I'm home, and exhausted, but all went well.
Thank you for all your good wishes.
Bone has healed well, but the tendons, muscles, etc. need a lot of work. I can stop wearing the cast, but have to wear an ankle brace for support. He also said it should be strong enough to drive in a couple of weeks. He'll notify the Min. of Transportation that I'm cleared as of March 1st.
