Lynn, there are just clumps of snow left here and there.

My brother lives an hour and a half west of here, and they have lots of snow left; they've had similar weather to us lately, but got way more snow over the winter.

Yup super slow...but got through...
Qualified for 15...took 12. Not quite ready for doggy treats and denta-chews...not ready for another pup yet...also I don't think we need the breast feeding drops either, at least not that the Lady's told me!

Must be trying to make up for lost time....


Well it took my Hubby and I quite a bit of time to place 16 quilt pinwheel squares I double-slashed and sewed together again, in some semblance of a 'random' pattern, and I think we actually achieved it! The trick to doing a random pattern is to actually follow a pattern! I told him that if he can play Sudoku and Karkuro, this should be a breeze for him. If was fun playing around with patterns, though...yes, life is full...

I'm off to a first meeting (for me) of the local Sunshine Foundation this evening; I'm not sure what I can do or where I can fit in, but I just feel I want to do something, and this is absolutely a worthwhile and LOCAL cause. We'll see what comes of it.

For now....have a safe drive home from work, and everyone have a lovely, relaxing evening!

I heard earlier that Patty Duke died this morning.
She was 69, and died from complications of an infection in the intestines.
I remember watching her show, and really like The Parent Trap, where she played both twin sisters.

Aw, I hadn't heard that....how terrible that she somehow had that infection; in this day and age, it just seems that infections should be dispatched with antibiotics and that the person is well again.

I also remember her in The Valley of the Dolls...very different from her Patty Duke Show series!

I never saw VOTD, just read the book (way too young, apparently!).


Hicks, she wasn't in the Parent Trap, that was Hayley Mills. But it was on The Patty Duke tv show where she played twins.

Well, it's been an uneventful day and evening - that's okay sometimes, I suppose!
