Oh, @22hicks ...sorry, I thought it had abandoned you; I sure do wish you'd get checked out, though, but I'm probably harassing you, so I'll stop. I hope it's only the flu, although it's sure a lousy one!! Feel better soon, Hon...:sweet:

You're not "harassing" me; you're just showing that you care, and I thank you for that. :sweet:
oh boy! Patients everywhere!! ( I just read back a bit )
Nice for you all @cabmonk , @Natalka and @22hicks to have Nurse Lynn on the job though http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/jo...y-emoticon.gif , someone kind thinking about your well being is special!! Hope the knee improves Natalka, I sure identify with knee pain.
Another Friday has sprouted up, just surprised how the week flies by for me now. Did a later swim today ( 7 a.m.-9 ) then hit the grocery stores for a few items. Fought the urge to sleep when I got back home, not even sure how I can be yawning as I had a full nights rest?
Hope you all have a terrific weekend, despite whatever rain they forecast. Right now I am fighting with one of my dogs ( Rufus ) as he has been spooked by a woodpecker in the trail where we walk. It happened about a week and a half ago and he still tries to pull back and make me take him to the opposite park across the street. His tail stays flat and down the whole walk, and if he walked any lower to the ground his belly would be dragging! What a silly, I keep telling him it was only a bird making the sound, but he does not speak my language.
I could feel better, but I could feel worse,
I'd like to trick those cancer cells to duly disperse,
This battle is a day to day issue & it is always there,
Even on the the back burner, my emotions can flare,
Not sure if it's become second nature, but I can tell you it is a pain,
But I do know no matter what my fight is never in vain,
My plight continues & I am still in this revolving door,
My biggest dream is that I will come out on top & settle this cancer score.

OMG...!!!!!!http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/laughing...y-emoticon.gifRARELY, if ever do I laugh at 'stuff', but you can't imagine how hilarious I found this!!!
I've knitted plenty of slippers in my days but this takes the cake!!
Thank you, @22hicks ...I wish my BFF was still here to share this with her...
How do people come up with these things?!!
:teeth: Happy you liked it. :teeth:
Ok, I'm officially sick.
The doctor said my left ear is infected, and I have bronchitis.
But that's not all, the x-ray confirmed I have pneumonia. :(
It doesn't explain the nausea though.
So, thank you all for encouraging me to see someone.
Oh, how I hated to press the 'like' button for that, hicks...
So the fever was from all the infections running through you - hopefully your meds kick in quickly to start combating them!
I'm sure you know what to do - rest, liquids, REST.
Garlic!
The nausea is probably just from being sick and feverish.
I used to get bronchitis frequently when I was teaching, and a great way to help it was to sit at a table with a bowl of hot boiled water, bend over the bowl, put a big towel over your head and them breathe deeply, breathe deeply over and over.
Plus, suck on hard candies - don't have to be cough candies.
Also, for ME - not saying it would be you - but the only cough syrup which helped at all when I had bronchitis was getting one with codeine, you need to ask the pharmacist for it.
For the pneumonia, I just sure hope you don't have much pain - and if you do, that it eases quickly. I've had it twice, once was minor, the other time it was horrid - hoping yours is the former!

Thanks @Natalka - I'm doing most of your suggestions. I tried the pot of boiling water, but just couldn't do it. Taking a deep breath right now is impossible. Not only do I start coughing, but my chest hurts so much, just breathing normally hurts.
Funny, it feels like everything is being affected. I started sneezing awhile ago. I counted 16 in a row, and now my sinuses are blocked, giving me a wicked headache.
Geez, you wonder where all this came from, and so quickly. I haven't been sick for such a long time. The last time I got sick was when I was in Mexico, 4 years ago. I guess being inside for all those months after breaking my leg, weakened my immune system.
Anyhow, thank you. Hopefully, it'll pass as quickly as it came on. :sweet:
Thanks everyone, pain is mostly gone just a bit stiff now. Doesn't help that I have to wear steel toed safety boots at work. And @22hicks hope you're better soon. :flowers:
Hicks! I wish you well in getting better fast! This stinks!
