Good luck at the ortho's, Lynn - and hope you have a blast at camp!
We're having a weenie roast tonight, not saving it for Canada Day, since our son is free tonight.

@Natalka, that sounds like fun. I haven't had a weenie roast in decades.
We use to cook almost everything on an open fire @ the cottage, or when we were camping.
I absolutely love corn on the cob done in the fire. Yummy.
Now, the closest I get is a BBQ.

Hey, I like Strong Beaver. For me, not so much with Freezing Toque!
Bummer, turned out I had a bad pain problem with my leg, so we just had hotdogs done on the BBQ - they were yummy as they were, with homemade soup.
Son just left, he's tuckered from a tuff day at work!

And I am "Freezing Poutine" - makes me gag! But then, it's just a gag! Hello folks! Home from our adventures! On to the next one! Weddings and Canada Day! Then Brother's Birthday and tiny travel -
Can't sleep! - Got a big day tomorrow, though.
Can't get my printer to work!
Dryer has just quit!
I'm about to......
Good night - or should I say good morning! Happy Canada Day!

Fireworks at the cottage, you can hear them & feel them explode?
Impressive colours will sizzle; is that pyrotechnics morse code?
The boom is loud & it echoes & scares the dog out of its wits,
You can write your name with sparklers, but only until the thing quits,
It is Canada Day my compatriots, don't you just love living this life?
You can be anybody's husband or anybody's wife!
We are in fact a nation that keeps on evolving & growing,
Yet we are so blase about Can-ad-isms, when in fact we should be crowing!
There are issues that we are facing, when don't like it please write your MP,
I've had some patronizing reply when I crabbed about paying hydro "delivery"!
We have hockey, lacrosse, smarties, poutine & nanaimo bars,
Butter tarts, coffee crisp & beaver tails & snow tires on our cars,
We love Tim's with devoted loyalty & Canadian Tire shopping is a given,
We invented duct tape, zippers & pablum, but that is not how we are driven,
We have a land that is vast & impressive for it is a sightseers paradise,
Just do appear in a fuddle duddle phone video, would be my only advice,
Happy Birthday to Canada, as future generations are lying in wait,
Our country will be very good to you, as long as you take charge of your fate.

Good morning every1. Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit.
With all the great weather we've had, too bad the rain didn't hold off just 1 more day.
Happy Canada Day.

I'll tell you, that was some game. It had almost everything, even Goins pitching. Such a shame we lost though.
Well, I don't think I can last much longer. Good night all.
