Missing you in every aspect of the phrase is my personal realization,
That personal touch of yours continues to be something I strongly feel,
You kept so quiet & dignified, while you fought such a vile ordeal,
I am not sure why you kept it all inside, but I knew that was your choice,
There were only a few rare times when I could hear angst in your voice,
Your birthday celebration would have been a very quiet & low key,
No pictures allowed & also no scrolling on the birthday marquee,
Sue my dear you were so dear to me & you deserved so much credit,
Comparing both of our cancerous experiences, wished that we could edit,
They say that grieving & acceptance eventually fall into place,
It is a bit erratic as it does not necessarily keep a comforting pace,
Remember taking the boys to the movies & Marc getting lost at the zoo?
Legendary Christmas dinners, family time memories do accrue,
There was always reassurance as you really gave so very much,
Your sisterhood & friendship still have an impacting touch,
Your family will always miss your presence & I can honestly acclaim,
Life is a regular thing for us, but we’ll never be the same.

Stupid Canada post strike loming. All the stuff on the way to me is probably going to be held up. Lighting kit coming from Vancouver travels 3000 miles and is now only 10 hour drive from me and the new camera I bought is about to cross the border. Oh well I'm not in a rush but come on lol.

The lighting kit is Canada post expedited and not sure about camera. Camera was sent using eBay's global shipping program. Seller in us sends it first by us mail to eBay's shipping center in Kentucky and then sent from there to Canada (it pre clears Canada customs at their shipping center). I'll see but I'm not panicked.

Just saw Finding Dory - it was okay, not really wonderful - except for the cuddling otters! Definitely not as good as Finding Nemo.
However, I'm glad I saw it.

My aunt was about to see it tonight I think with a bunch of friends and they're all in their 70's.

Yesterday was my oldest sister's birthday - she's 69, lives in AB. One good thing about having three older sisters is that I've always been able to see how wonderful getting older is, because none of them shows her age. (well, the one next oldest to me kind of does because her skin is wrecked from suntanning.)

I've been @ the hospital since 7 this morning with a friend. I had to come home for Jake, and a break. They're saying it'll be at least another 5 - 7 hours, if not an admission, so I thought I'd pop in to say hi.
