'Mornin' everyone.....hope all's well in everyone's world!
We woke up to white crap outside today.....so funny..I sent Jenny outside, and she skipped into the back yard and stopped dead in her tracks, like she just then noticed something was different..lol..she started sniffing the snow very suspiciously...seems "like mother like daughter" here..
NO weddings until Dec 28th!!! I'm FREE!!!
I love doing them, but with almost 40 this summer, it's been a summer of 'no summer' so I can finally do whatever I want!!
Which today means...staying snuggled indoors.

Thanks, Bub....it's not just the actual weddings, there are the meetings prior, usually a rehearsal Friday nights...but I shouldn't complain...I have lots of nummy money for our (shopping) trip!!

Good morning, all!

Well, not exactly 'good' here - sewer overflowed in the basement and flooded; hopefully the rooter guys will get out here soon - I'm sure they won't be thrilled that it's snowy and freezing, but tough!
We've been going through this for years, here - and sure, we probably should have moved, but didn't... the problem is with roots growing in these older neighbourhoods' sewer lines. The bad part of it is we're in a duplex, and we get the overflow first from our neighbours, ick!

On to happier things - had a great birthday day with our son yesterday! He loved his gifts (pre-ordered the new Halo game for him, plus gave him a Canadian Tire gift card - he lives for tools and car parts, lol!), loved his cake, and the awesome meal his dad cooked for us!

If you are even a little bit of a Madonna fan, try catch her on Elllen today - she does a full hour with her. Actually the best part was the male dancers, who did routines by themselves and were friggin-unbelieveable!

when i heard of 'sandy' (either brain was off or,,, go ahead fill in the blank)
i did not expect to hear we need to have 3 days of everything --- we only have
3 days of cats stuff - and was just hopeful this storm would not hit the east coast.
never thought we should be worried, as the infrastucture in the toronto region
is as it is,,,(and of course the canadian world revolves around it).

really do hope sandy storm does not do what she is expected to,,,
crazy to see new york (etc) shut down - so being hopeful but worried

morning every one. sorry i missed ya Cab. slept ok last night a little toss 'n turn trying to get warm and comfy. not easy with a bad back. but decided instead of getting up and conquering the day, i'd sleep in. did that until 11 and feel alot better. going to take it easy. im sure hubby understands he knows im not fooling. once im better i'll be full speed ahead.
its cool here, windy and rainy. a little bit 'sandy' i'd guess you'd say. not bad yet. but better than it could be.. not ready for that yet. although all the winter gear is out. except boots.
thinking of working on a few projects today that dont' take much energy. son is home sick with his second cold. now my youngest thinks' he has it. oh joy!.

Lynn enjoy your time off, sounds like you worked hard for it.

Natalka. sucks about your basement. we went through that 2x in 3 months a couple years back. not something i'd wish on my worst enemy.
well they say were supposed to get another couple of nice days before its settles in for good. really hoping so. i'd love to get my carpets done. anyway. thats all for now.
