hello everyone
we're having a tough time with our cash flow as well. I think this year we might just buy gifts for the kids and not each other - which means I prob won't get my freezer - unless we can get it from Leons and they usually have a "Dont pay for 12, 15, 18 mths" plan.
right now im educating myself on the nintendo ds and the different versions out there and which one is more appropriate ($ wise reasonable) for a 5yr old.

Good morning, all! :hello:
I hate it when I read about people stressing over the Christmas season. the holidays should be about spending time with family and friends, not stressing about money and are my gifts good enough. I feel people love gifts frore bought gift. Yes...even the kids. I from the heart way more than any store purchased gift.
One very strong memory I have of Christmas was when my mom was still alive. I was 8, because my mom was dying from cancer, she couldn't work and we had very little money, in fact we were on social assistance at that point. Christmas held a wonder that morning.
Our stockings were filled with wonderful polished red apples, Christmas oranges and some simple socks and mitts my mom had knitted us. The gifts, we all shared 3 games she had picked up at the thrift store, one of them was even missing pieces, BUT....she made it fun. We drank hot chocolate in the morning, had a wonderful special breakfast, got hugs and kisses and played the games all day long. That my friends is what Christmas should be about.
I just realized I forgot to say good morning. Morning Nat, morning all
