We do that for holidays too WOB have have also volunteered at them, so its easy to see where our money is going there.
This particular food bank is newer, we usually donate through the SA food bank as its on my way home (and I will keep donating there), this one put out a plea for financial donations which they buy from suppliers at a reduced cost so the food is the same for each box etc. Dempsters Farm bread etc where often bread isnt included bc its 'fresh'.

Gotta love daycare, for all the germs they spread around. Just hoping he grows his immunity quickly! lol

DH comes home on Sunday - 1 week to go. 3 weeks is just to long for him to be away, miss him just too much! :(
On the up side, DS looks like he's on the mend. He finally slept last night and he's happy playing today with little to no whining. Happy baby = Happy mommy! :)
Oh Lola not you too! DS has been sick all week. We were in the hospital ER on Sunday evening last week for about six hours because he couldn't breathe with the croup. To top it all off our Daycare lady told us on Friday she is changing her hours and if we don't like it we will have to find someone else. Hopefully next week goes better!
Good luck to everyone with sick lil' ones or if you're sick yourself.... this fall time, change of weather, etc. is not fun. Hopefully everyone gets better soon!!
