That's cool! I love the ads about the games being on so late, with tv watchers trying to stay awake.
Info on him - he's cute! (I checked images to see him without the hockey gear.)

holly, glad there is at least some positive change.
I went to sleep early last night, and when I came out to the living room at 2 a.m., the Christmas tree was up! (finally!) However, it's naked, so we'll get that all decorated this afternoon.!
I am just going to start baking today, too. I have to take things so very sloooowly, it's rather irritating....

Ya I hear you. Nothing worse than pushing yourself, then being ill or in so much pain that you've ruined your Christmas for sure. I love putting the tree up and decorating it on the 24th. Most times with children, people put the tree up early, but that whole family gathering, decorating the tree, sharing a meal and some laughs. It's so comforting

Holly I never know how I do it...I just start fooling around and there it is I changed it! Lol
My throat is finally feeling better... Now if I can just get rid of this cough! I sound like I smoke 4 packs a day!
I took it easy yesterday -did laundry, had a shower, made homemade soup, etc
Today I have a massage app't and I need to get some fresh veggies and fruit.
Then back home- rest-make things to take to my Dads side of the family Christmas tonight. I hope I will be better and not spread the germs
I still need to wrap all the Santa gifts
But atleast I feel more human then last week

Glad you are somewhat better. Are you taking cough syrup? Buckleys is awesome if you can stand it; I can't, so I use Robitussin or Life brand - making sure it's for a dry cough.
When I have bronchitis, I have to get one with codeine from the pharmacist.
Have tea with lemon and honey.
Do you have a cool mist humidifier? That works awesome to help at night.
I know it seems opposite from doing the cool mist at night, but steaming during the day works well - put very hot water in a bowl, put on kitchen table, put your face over, drape a towel over your head, breathe deeply and steeeam....
Suck on hard candies - don't have to be lozenges, but actually I like to use menthol ones or honey/lemon.Last edited by Natalka; Sun, Dec 23rd, 2012 at 09:41 AM.
