Morning all, hope nobody froze their little bums off last night
When you are a renter, no matter what province you live in, there are laws the landlord is required to follow. Call or go to the landlord and tenant act for your province and find out what notice they need to give you, and print it out and give a copy to your landlord. Since your planning on moving, it doesn't really matter if you upset them, AND make them follow the laws. Tell them they cannot come into your suite unless proper notice is given, for ANY reason. If they did not get an electrician to do the wiring in the basement and it's causing problems with their electricity upstairs, then guess they need to pay on to correct the problem, and give you proper notice to get THEIR electric turned back on. You're paying rent and are entitled to your privacy. What are the plans for today??? Hope they include hot rum

Well, I'm glad to know I wasn't overreacting. I am not a fan of them waltzing in whenever they please. I mean they knock & all, but still. I feel like this isn't my place, I'm just someone who lives in someone's basement. I always thought I would prefer to live in a basement of a house rather than in a building. Now, I'm not so sure.
