Sorry, that really sucks.
I try to never bring the kids to that place when it is busy because with all of the people and the lights, it is a sensory overload for them.
They are getting better with the crowds at other stores, but WM always sets them off the worst.
Hey my cousin is 42 and walmart sets him off and gives him a headache lol. I work there and like it but it's just the crowds sometimes I guess. I went to metro the other day at 10am and it felt like a ghost town. I felt like I was walking around a zellers or some kinda ghetto store. What the hell happened to the metro here, it seemed dirty and disorganized.

OMG, I remember those days, but you did the right thing sheets. It's hard to walk out after you've spent so much time getting everything you need, but I have found over many years and many, many different children from numerous backgrounds that, the one thing that works is when they realize that unattractive, unwanted behavior results in nothing except a punishment for the one with the behavior. It doesn't take long for children to realize that you mean business when you say to them, "If you don't stop that immediately, we will leave". Good for you for doing that. So many parents today feel they are so busy that they give in to the behavior, it's easier and they can get what they need and not have to return to the store later. :notworthy: you're my hero!!!Quote:
