I was supposed to hear by today, as they have orientation set for Monday and Tuesday I wonder if it would be appropriate to call her? It's been years since I've went through this process.

I have lots call me even though we say only successful candidates will be contacted. I don't care, it is part of the job and I am sure she will feel the same. Better to let a candidate know so they can look elsewhere than hold out hope

Lots say that but don't. My boss told people some imaginary date last time and we hadn't even met to go over resumes and I had people calling so it may be that orientation or whatever could change

i had the same thing when I went for an interview with david's bridal. they told me either way by the end of the week.. never heard back from them again. at least figure a high reputable company would stick to their word.. not. an apparently they didn't get rave reviews from the locals when they opened either.. wonder y.

Doing the Happy dance because it's Friday and I have already baked two pies (one cherry and one raisin). I need to make more buttertarts again, I think someone is stealing them in the night. I also need to replenish my cookie jar. I am currently plotting my 20x the points event at SDM tomorrow .

Ugh! My 2 biggest pet peeves for HR people are when they say things like "great", "awesome", etc. No matter how good the interview goes, they really shouldn't give feedback until they make a decision. Which leads me to my 2nd pet peeve, if you give a date them stick to it.

While at school we were trained for those 2 things so when I experience them it really annoys me.

I hate hearing "awesome" after every response and then getting hopes up and then finding out you don't have enough experience (happened a lot after I graduated).

We have frost on the ground, but it's supposed to go up to 14 (woohoo) later today, then up, up, up throughout the week.
Good thing we put all our planters in the toolshed last night....

I have a wedding to perform this evening, and since I'm up SO early, I will be
taking a nap this afternoon or falling asleep during the ceremony....

Natalka, I'm ready to go back to bed!
Jenny is stretched out in the sunshine in the living-room and I just took a picture of her laying on her tummy with her wee legs stretched out at the back....I just think pups are tooo cute when they do that. Then she does the "Sun Salutation" yoga pose, up on her front legs, then flops back down again. Enough exercise for now..... Truth be told, probably more than I'm willing to do today....On to the paperwork now for that wedding today..

I hope you can get a wee nap in today too, Natalka!

Lol...Jenny does this when a corner of our comforter slips onto the floor...They're so needy and pathetic, lol....

My very sweet son got up earlier than usual for a Sat. and actually offered to go shopping since he'll be out and about! He never minds shopping, but usually I ask and negotiate! So nice for me - gave him a short Sobey's list for essentials and sale items.

Oh, Natalka, that's not Jenny or our home...sorry to confuse you...I said "Jenny does this", when I should have said, "Jenny is just like this pup...curls up on any corner of our comforter that slips to the floor."...And it usually slips to the floor on hubby's side since I'm always too warm and flip it over on him because he's usually cold (I do cool the house to about 66 at night)....I just can't sleep when it's warm. Which is nuts since I used to be very much the opposite!!

I took a couple of recent pics of Jenny so I'll post them in the Pet thread when my hubby dumps them onto the computer...I STILL can't do it! Actually I'm more afraid of doing something not so good to his camera...I'm one of those people who attract the phrase: "Well, THAT'S never happened before!". Yep. That's me.
