Oh, HOLLY, I saw videos of the flooding on the news yesterday and wondered if it was anywhere you were.....how awful!! I can't begin to imagine what it's like to go through something like that. And your poor cupcakes, and that reservation; just things we don't think of when we hear stories of floods like that..Are the proms and graduations over by now? I hope this clears up for everyone!

We have a dreary looking day here, too....it's a good thing the wedding today is indoors, but the rehearsal is supposed to be outside at one of the golf clubs here, as well as their ceremony tomorrow; the bride just wrote me saying the weather will be perfect: I have no idea where she got that information, poor kid, but I think we'll be moving into the big dining tent.

Lynn, Dan, Everyone, morning. I feel so very bad for everyone who is loosing their homes, having them filled with water. I just got a call from my stepmom, she was so worried about us. It's a funny thing... I worry so very much about her at her age, and yet she worries more about me. How horrible this is for so many people (she say's as she sits in her bed with a tear rolling down her cheek)

Well it seems I am really on a roll we found our photographer and videographer for the wedding a wife and husband team! They have both worked extensively on Canadian TV and magazines and they are delightful!
We met last night at 7pm and we talked and talked until almost 930! haha I would say 30 min was wedding stuff the rest was about everything from movies, to tv shows cell phones haha We really hit it off with them and were very comfortable around them so I think it will make for great pictures! YAY

morning everyone. rough night here last night. dd1 woke up around 2am wanting to sleep with me and when she crawled into our bed she was burning up. gave her Tylenol at 2, by 2:45 she was still hot, her whole body was burning. gave her advil and maybe 20 mins later her temp was still going up. I was going to take her to the hospital but I called telehealth first and they said I could keep her home for now and manage her fever. I think around 4am it broke and she was able to get some sleep. I hate when kids get fevers in the middle of the night. she woke up this morning feeling okay but said her head hurts a bit. gave her a bit more Tylenol but she seems okay otherwise.

Glad her fever broke.
It seems to be going around, 2 people called in sick today bc there kids have fevers.

I cant imagine what Calgary is going through today.

been a weird Friday.. first day of exams.. and they both insisted they didnt' have any.. yet so far i've received one call. hmm..
anyway. once i get my butt going a few things to do today. not much. looking forward to the weekend. its going to be nice out today.. hot and muggy and rainy this weekend. good opportunity to catch up on laundry etc.
