Oh, Luv, I was up before 2 a.m. for some *&^(*&#@ reason, and it's now 6, and I am hoping to get back to bed to get some sleep soon.... so I can face the rest of the day!

Oh, I'm so mad right now - my glasses broke. Yes, they are very, very old and should have been replaced a decade ago (no exaggeration) - not just because of the frames, but my vision has changed through my late 40s til now.

Well, I cried.... and with no husband home to be Mr. Fix-It, I had to give it a whirl to fix them. No way I can get through the afternoon and evening without being able to see - thus, not being able to be on the puter, watch tv, etc.

So I had to give it a try - and using teeny amounts of superglue, after a few tries, they are holding together.

Gah, so now I have to get to an optometrist asap, then get new glasses - not looking forward to the $$$ because, of course, I have a specialized prescription - plus, now, I'm pretty sure I'll have to get progressive lenses.


... and how is YOUR Saturday going?

Hey Nat...sorry you broke your glasses...but look at it this way...you've been needing new ones for awhile now...(the blessing in disguise) hope it wont be too much. A sale would be nice!

Natalka ,, not sure how confident you are in the Clearly contacts site... but if you dont' mind putting a little money out for the dr's exam you can get some really nice glasses for cheap. can't hurt to try until you can afford something more expensive..
going to have to do the same thing for my son.. his broke today too.. he took an old pair of mine. spray painted them and some how put his lenses in them.. for a week or so it'll work.

other than that im chillin.. finished cleaning my house.. still working on laundry..and just watched a squirrel steal a piece of pizza out of the garbage bag i had sitting in the backyard read to go out.. he was quite impressed with himself.. freakin pizza was larger than him LOL.

LTUC.. the dang bang was right outside the patio door.. if he wanted to he could have come in and sat at the dining room table.. scared the bejeezies out of me.. but he was determine.. how he smelt it through the bag.. picked at it until he had it outside and then yanked like 3 times. he was not leavin without it.. LOL. i wish i had a camera.

yikes me and nat are going to eye doc - i am sure i need more then new glasses --- thinking the other
eye needs a new cataract one --- was so amused how easily it went with the first.
must have been terrific really as i remember needles and things like that

oh shoot remembering when i explained this to one of the nephews ---
it is like you are looking through a dirty marked up piece of glass at everything.
answer back --- well why do you need do go into the hospital it is easy to clean glass.
need a new what kids say show eh?

Morning everyone! TGIM. lol

Got up super early today (thanks kids) and have already finished my errands. Groceries are away and dinner is in the crock pot.

The crew is almost finished the pool area. They didn't work yesterday so they said just a few hours today and it's done. Yahoo! lol

Went by DD's school but no class list was up. I was hoping they still did that. Like they post the class lists on the main doors so you can see which teacher you have and who is in your class, etc. I know DD's teacher but was wanting to know how many will be in her class. I'd like to give a little first day of school treat to the kids, since I'm doing one for the teacher.

Anyway, do they still put up lists? Or does it depend on the school?
