Having dinner with db tonight. And watching the semi-semi-finals in baseball - I can't keep track but it seems that the "Boys of Summer" are actually "The Boys of Early Spring, Summer and late fall" I guess some people are in heaven - baseball, golf, football, NASCAR, all at the same time!

Good morning everyone :hello:

Morning all, long time no chat. Sorry for vanishing, I'm still in this real bad funk over the death of my besty.... :( I've actually had to get some counseling, I just couldn't seem to snap out of it. I guess because it was so very unexpected. Anyways, things seem to be starting to move in the right direction and I'm slowly getting back to doing the things I love best, including coming here to visit every day

So, I'm hoping I'm back on track. I've missed you all so very much. Sooooo, what's everybody been up to??? I hope you are all feeling well, no sickies cause one of my dd's say's there are some nasty flues going around the hospitals Everyone in my family is doing really well. Me, I'm getting back into routine :) which means coming here at LEAST once a day.

just relaxing for a minute. dd2 is actually playing with her doll house by herself which is a rare event so mommy can take a breather. I started volunteering this morning at dd1's school for their breakfast program. I can't believe how many kids use this program. and the lack of food is shocking. they've got $75 a week to feed 200-250 kids breakfast! good heavens. i'm going to have to do some coupon shopping for them that's for sure. both the kids got to help out with it so that was nice. they really enjoyed serving breakfast and helping set up. good to start them young!
