Sheesh, just went to turn up the heat again - it just isn't warming up... computer is in a room with a big front window, and it's too fargin cold out there with -35 windchill, which seems to be creeping into the house!
My fingers are the most freeezingest, lol!

Oh, Natalka! Would putting up that plastic window-seal stuff help? It sounds like there's very little insulation in that home...poor you, I hope you find some relief soon....

Rain, rain, here this morning, turning to snow...so off to Sears to pick up 1/2 price down pillows this morning for 'the kids' for Christmas...I know, not a 'yahoo' type if gift, but DD was mentioning that they needed new pillows, so.....off to get 'em!

DD just called from Mexico in that...ahem...mansion she's staying in this week, lol, and said she'd take everyone out for dinner as a thank-you for staying there...so they went to a restaurant, very nice, everyone salsas, and had 2 huge appetizers, 4 entrees, 2 bottles of wine, 4 desserts: $130 CDN! Can you imagine what that would cost here?! LOL!!! Anyway...she's up on the roof garden studying for her exam....must be nice!!!! Brat!

im supposed to be going up to the hospital today. but my heart isn't in it..

I'm still debating on whether to decorate my white tree as normal.. or turn it into frosty...

Morning, Natalka! Did you manage to warm up yesterday?

Lordy, hubby and I went across town to get our flu shots yesterday and the weather had just turned to flickery snow, but by the time we ran a couple of errands, the snow was really coming down, no salt or sand on the roads yet, and we had to get up a little hill to get to where we needed to go, and cars, trucks, were sliding backwards down that hill, a bus couldn't make it up, and we were lucky to get out of that mess unscathed! A drive that should have taken 5 minutes tops, took us almost a half hour in the traffic jam! Unfortunately 2 people were killed in single vehicle accidents on near-by highways....so sad when some drivers can't adjust to driving conditions and just drive off the road.

So the snow is still here this morning but at least the sun is shining!!

Good morn! At least it's warmer out today, but that's relative... tomorrow should be in single minus digit!

Lynn, never really did warm up - so very cold - it's the front room where the computer is, and the back half of the kitchen - so the N and S of the house. Bedroom and living room are okay.
We'll have to check if anything is blocking the vent thingees....

Nice that you got snow - but, gah, on the drivers... it's amazing how poorly some people drive.

well we got our smattering of snow .. we were at our church bazaar in the basement.. no knowledge of it happening.. come upstairs... and voila.. winter had arrived..
i still need to go to SDM and then im going up alone to see my Dad.

Well, our little guest-room is all ready for our Grandson's first ever sleepover!!
We're having "make your own pizza" for dinner, then the "Toyland" animated movie with popcorn....homemade pancakes for breakfast...then perhaps my Hubby will take him to Science North, unless he still wants to bake a 'surprise" for his Mom's return..

Our DD isn't due back from Mexico until late Monday, so the hubby of the gal she's with is having our SIL over for a surf&turf dinner, and a sleepover there! lol! It gives Daddy a little get-away, too...

Anyhoodles! Snow is here to stay, I'm guessing....Natalka, I sure hope it's just a matter of the vents! Fingers crossed, Hon!!

I don't have kids but like to see my little cousins and try to get them something nice and meaningful for Christmas. Its nice to be able to go and spend holidays at my cousins even if only for a few hours. Last year at this time I was living in his house lol. Feels weird not to be there anymore after living there for 3 years but I'm sure they're happy(just for the space that I moved)

My aunt should be back soon from here almost month long trip to Australia, new zealand, and fiji. Man I'm jealous lol but no actually really happy for her.
