    Good morning friends,

    Rough morning. My babcia has been taken to the hospital this morning with heart failure, they did some xrays and she also has fluid in her lungs. Hoping everything goes okay with the holiday's just around the corner.

    oh dear Candini.. my prayers are with you hun.. and some warm ((hugs)) too.

    well it has been crazy busy here.. i think with dad in the hospital, between visits and trying to accomplish everything before he got home.. wow.. time went way too fast. im in shock its next week.. it NEVER came this fast as a kid LOL.

    the rest of the week will be filled with last minute preparations. hope everyone has a fantastic week.

    Thank you, everyone. Her blood pressure is back to normal but they are still monitoring her for a few days. Super stressful, my mother is her caretaker and LOVES Christmas more than anything to be with family. So, I hope all is well.

    Good EARLY morning, everyone!

    Candini, I hope this morning finds your Babcia's health improving until she's home for Christmas.

    We attended our grandson's Christmas concert yesterday at his school...what a great turnout; it's so nice to see such support for the students, and I imagine the 7pm drew in even more parents and family members. While everyone was waiting and seated, we all watched a video montage of all the students in each classroom waving, saying hi, as a group or individually...naturally our grandson was the sweetest...lol...

    Today, my every-3-month dental cleaning, which is fine, no worries, then...I dunno...all gifts bought and mostly wrapped and under the tree, and just a few more 'dishes' and meals to pre-prepare and freeze so that I'm not in the kitchen throughout the holidays, which this year, means, dinner for 7, dinner for 12, dinner for 7 again.... I still have to pick up 2 gifts for our "Dirty Santa" game when the 12 of us are together, but that's about it!

    -11 today, going up to a balmy -2 tomorrow...yay! Back down to -11 on Saturday for an outdoor wedding I'm performing....oh, why outdoor in December?!!

    Lynn, great that there are still Christmas concerts in ON, one hears so much about "holiday" concerts....

    Wow, an outdoor wedding - that would have been a dream of mine, well at least to have a winter wedding - long fur wedding cloak, etc.! How opposite we did things, we got married in July, hottest darned day of the year!

    Well, if I had a fur robe I might not mind it, either, but my robe is far from it! I'd have to wear it over my winter coat, so rather than looking like a sumo wrestler I may not wear it at all...haha!
    When you two repeat your wedding vows, you can do that in the winter, right?

    Just got my mannicotti filling made and taking a break; I played with the recipe and it tastes more like tortiere, lol...but soo good!
