Lol Holly!! My throat is still hurting. The dr these meds might not work for this bad of strep. He said if it is not gone by Thursday then to go back. I don't like that my eyes are swollen and they feel like hot pokers are in them . I am finished the med. as of yesterday...so we will see. I am going out Friday night and it will be late. So I better be better And I am driving! (They smoke and being in their cars gives me an asthma attack )

Oh Abby, sorry the meds haven't done anything. Why would your Dr put you on a med he didn't think would work, thats crazy, the goal is to take as few meds as possilbe, not more. I hope your eye swelling goes down, its not good!

AND, the mom in me says "ABBY, I don't think you should be going anywhere on Friday, especially if your eyes are still swollen, even a little bit!!!!" " You need your rest"

I am allergic to all meds in some form or another. This one is a less evil reaction. I usually works but it also usually kills my stomach and I get a rash etc.... With it. This times a few hives here and there and this crazy eye thing!!

I don't know about you but I am the worst at taking care of myself. (I always thought it was a mom thing ??) I just keep pushing through. Over 20 years of being a mom and I am still the same! Lol

Yes, us moms ALWAYS put everyone else first. AND....I see you avoided my telling you to stay home on Friday night Sometimes going out when we are sick can't be avoided, but try and get home as early as possible (maybe someone else could be the dd and you could skip out early).

morning all. early start to today however im procrastinating.. i need to get me reindeer and spoons done then my snowman then my hair clips. it would all probably take me a couple of hours top once i start. but here i sit AUGH!.

Well what an 8 days at work,lol. I'm sore from head to toe and some nights felt like I could barley stand up but I still like the job and don't regret taking it. The nights go by fast and I just go around my section stocking the shelves and then help pull everything back at the end of the night. Which is the hectic hard part as we need to have all extra merchandise and equipment off the floor before 7am.

This morning from 5.30am to 7am had to help pull 40 full skids of merchandise off the floor and put in the back. As you're going you think there's no way we will be done by 7am and I actually punched out at 6.57am lol. As you're pulling skid after skid to the back with the pallet jack and you think you're almost done and at 6.50am one of the managers says hey guys there's still 8 skids left in bedding we need to get those off the floor(we can't leave them because they are completely blocking aisles in the store. I then head to punch out and leave and as I'm leaving the store I see the night crew on the food side still hard at work stocking shelves. Good thing I didn't wind up on the food side.
Now off for 2 days.

No, drat, it's not gone, but the cold is def. better. My coughing attacks are way less, I don't feel as yucky generally, but the laryngitis is still here!

Aw, gee - you need to get on something else right away - strep is so icky.... With you being sensitive to meds, there has to be something which can work for you!
