I was really hoping to be feeling much better today as I'm into day 4 of my flu/cold thingy.....not happening We were suppose to go out tonight to a friends surprise birthday party, but I'm going to have to pass because I don't want anyone to have a chance of getting this, especially over Christmas.

Dh is being so great though, he just left to go out and pick up a gift and b-day card and is going to drop it off at the hostessess rv for the b-day girl to get tonight. I'm sad first party this winter and I'm going to miss it. Dh is also going to pick up either a ham or turkey for Christmas day, I told him to get whatever looked good and whatever he wanted (I'm praying I'll be feeling up to cooking in 3 days).

Gosh, holly - I hope you are better very soon! At least you can get some great Vitamin D where you are!

When dh came back from walking Marley yesterday, he had 4 tangerines, 2 oranges and 1 grapefruit. I've eaten the oranges and 2 tangerines, that was yesterdays meals for me. I did manage to make dh a chicken cutlet last night with some rice and peas as I felt so bad for him. He was very thankful, as he knew how I was feeling. He even has another cutlet leftover to make himself a sandwhich this afternoon.

We're waiting until Monday to put our presents. DS rips into everything that he can reach. lol. Even with the gate up, he'd find a way. I'm hoping 1 day will be safe. Then I can put the rest out (Santa and big items, etc) Christmas eve.

This is with the 2 in the big beer cans,lol wrapped with cellophane now.

2 more nights at work..For Christmas eve will be doing cheese and crackers, shrimps, jalapeno shooters wrapped with bacon and some desserts. Others will be bringing stuff too and my cousin will be making stuff.

I saw a six pack of the little coke bottles when I left work this morning at walmart for $3.97. I thought they would be perfect to add to the gift baskets.

Hubby and buddies finally shut things down at about 2 am. I know DH is suffering and can only guess the other two are also ....snickering



I on the other hand have a whole ton of spring rolls that need to be made today.

I always do DH a beer gift basket (well okay a box) with specialty beer. This year I got 12 for about $50. Some neat kinds out there!
