umm Dan what Tickets?? did i miss something exciting..?

I was fiddling around with ticket packages trying to get better seats than I had in my shopping cart, and it looks as though all the tickets were scooped up within 15 minutes of the box office opening up.

Dan: good on ya for those tickets...I hope the roads are okay for your trip next year...it's so scary traveling in the winter! 4 tickets: two couples of just 'the guys'?

Not quiet sure yet. I'll have to sit down with the lady and figure it all out.
But regardless, it's going to be lots of fun!

It's pretty cool here today. I've had a cold for over 3 weeks now and this weather is not helping!!!

Oh Anne, sorry you're still not over your cold. It's horrible when a cold hangs on like that, it gets to be such a pain in the a$$ and with this weather everywhere. We had tornado warnings here yesterday, for the Strathmore/Standard area. None ever touched down, but this rain, humidity and cold can leave anytime, that's for sure.

holly, we are getting the same rain, it's just crazy. It wasn't supposed to rain again til Thurs.
Plus, they've increased the forecast temp to 29 - it's going to be a muggy one!

quick question - how does everyone keep track of their bills (what's due, when, how much)? i used to do it in an excel calendar, but for the past year, i stopped updating it, and resorted to "memory" which led to late payments.. so while im sitting here paying my overdue bills, i figured id ask everyone else how they remember when to pay their bills

I "Keep Track"...we have an 'inbox tray' (the kind you find in an office) that sits on the bar/counter top for all incoming mail or bills due to be paid. I check it everyday. pay bills when they need to be paid.

I put all my bills on the calendar on the wall in the kitchen. Most of my bills I get an e-bill, and some still come in the mail so it can get confusing. I almost missed a payment once, when I started this whole e-bill thing. That scared me enough to start jotting everything down. If you have a credit card and are late or miss a payment (or 2 depending on the card), these companies hike the interest rate so high it should be illegal. I have worked very hard over the years to keep my credit, and the interest rate on any card I own below 10% and I'd be very sad, and frustrated if it got hiked. These companies don't care if you've had and used their card for 35 years or more. They're brutal. So....I make a point of checking my calendar every morning, I see what's on that day and that way I know what I need to do or what bills to be paid. Using excel can be fine, but it entails that you ALWAYS keep it updated. Having to start up the computer and do everything. Just jotting it on a calendar is much easier. Hope you get a system that works for you.
