False labor LOL......back to the waiting game

Oh, coyote.... how close is she to the due date?

Gee, it takes SO long to go through stuff and do the keep, recycle, donate, chuck game...

But I've found some interesting things -

First was a find yesterday - among some pics in an envelope one of my sisters gave me long ago - I remember seeing the pics, but then noticed in the envelope there was a folded paper which I had not seen before. She had passed along to me a copy of my dad's university transcript, which also included the Gr. 12 marks used for entrance. So it shows the classes he took and marks for them towards his two degrees - very cool!

The second thing was sadder, and how I cried over it! I don't even remember doing it, but it was pages and pages of writing I did from when my mom was very ill - from learning about her diagnosis, and the writing stops several weeks before she died in Feb. of 1996.

After I read it, I started to crunch up the papers to throw them away - then I wondered whether or not this is something I should have my son read - any advice on this? The writing isn't doom and gloom, not at all....

He was four at the time, and I write about how happy she was when he came to visit her in hospital - he did his Christmas verse in Ukrainian for her, and read her a book - and how she always asked about him.

Well, I'm just SO overwhelmed - so much to do, feels like we are running out of time fast with packing, etc.!

Yesterday, I was still quite flu-ey - and on top of it all, (sorry TMI) a very nasty Auntie Flo came for a visit - so I had lots of pain all around through the day, evening, night - and now, just ick.
Yeah, the never just raining but pouring proverb!

Okay, on with the day!

Well, I just had a lovely happy cry - watched the "Bones" episode from last night where Temp and Booth finally get married - gosh, it was just lovely! Cyndi Lauper sang "At Last" - and their vows made me cry, so nice!
Temp looked amazing, loved her gown!

Well, I just had a lovely happy cry - watched the "Bones" episode from last night where Temp and Booth finally get married - gosh, it was just lovely! Cyndi Lauper sang "At Last" - and their vows made me cry, so nice!
Temp looked amazing, loved her gown!

Didn't watch this last night...it's on the list of things to watch tonight, with the lady.

What a cold cold day here! I froze on the way to work lol So glad fiance and I got our engagement photos done this past weekend..it was not cold and the colours were fantastic! Now the waiting game is on...the photographer said he will send a few teaser photos tmrw and the rest will be ready in a week or so..CANT WAIT!
