I'm joining a gym tomorrow if all things look promising (facility etc). I lost 23 pounds last Spring and have gained it all back plus few extra. Ugh! Today the ugly truth came out when I tried t-shirts etc on at Walmart. Too small. I use to workout at a gym approximately 10 years ago and was in the best shape of my life. I recall pushing 150 pounds on the seated leg press. Whoot! I exercise at home but it's not just the same. Paying money forces you to go plus they have all the fancy equipment, others around to motivate you. I'm going to kick butt!

Ouch! I feel your pain...I lost 50lbs last winter in WW online, broke my leg, gained 16 of them back! So it's back to my diet and until the roads get less icy, no walking for Jenny and me for a while!!

Thanks Lynn! I hope the ice melts for you soon.. it feels so good walking in the spring sunshine without having to navigate treacherous icy sidewalks. I joined today! They gave me a quick tour of the place. Beefy men working out plus a few women. I felt a bit intimidated by the men lol I go on Monday to meet with a trainer for more in depth stuff.

My brother had to take a pick axe to the ice at the bottom of our drive. My mother drove over the ice in her car and cut the gas line.

They changed my appointment with the gym trainer to Wednesday. That's when I'll start at the gym. Today I big plans to buy a backpack-things I need for working out. Unfortunately my body had other ideas. I was sick, throwing up etc-you don't need the details lol. Anyways it lasted maybe a few hours and cleared. Decided to take it easy today. Tomorrow I will conquer and buy the stuff (hopefully sales!) tomorrow.
