Well, I tried your concoction. Thank you for a few hours of relief.
It took a lot of the stench away, so it was a nice afternoon, but after our walk in the rain, the stink was back. I'm hoping that when he dries off, the smell'll be gone.

My body shut me down today - somehow I hurt my foot - can't remember how during the weekend and couldn't walk - so VERY easy day - thanks to DH's help and I got some "non-walking" duties done - paying bills, ordering pills, etc. But still LOTS to be done before our holiday next week!
We're watching the US Democratic Debate - moderated by Anderson Cooper. (He's sure not giggling on THIS program!) I Love Anderson Cooper! (both the "giggly" one and the serious one!)

I am so sorry! I've only ever had to de-stink 20-pounder shorthaired things. (3 of them one time once, the little buggers actually lined up for the laundry sink, they wanted the stink off so badly)

Surely the local skunk is out of juice now, though You're not cleaning up for nothing.

Maybe a call to a local skunk-remover might be in order! I am sure the skunk would be happier in a new home where s/he Isn't being threatened by that nasty dog!
