Enjoy the game Lynn.
I'm sure the kids will get back safely, but it sure is a worry.
We're getting that temp dip later today, along with snow, blowing snow, and squalls. They say it's going to be like that till Wed.
Every1 going out, be careful !!

Just read back a page or two. I never got any spam pm's ( grateful ) and I also did not listen to or know about that crappy forecast! You would never know it is going to turn ugly, DD just came back from walking the dogs and said it is like Fall out there! Such and odd day for me, i got out of bed after 1:00 p.m.!! Mind you I did not doze off till after 6:00 a.m. so that would do it.
best part was having my WW " brunch " for a measly 6 points and feeling stuffed! This makes the rest of the day a breeze for meals and snacking. Having my hot oatmeal every morning is a must though, so I still had that with brunch.
Stay safe and snuggled inside everyone!!

Hi, Walks...well you may be having fall weather, but it's nothing but nasty here! The kids are driving up from Toronto, doing 60km/hr. It's going to take a while for them to get here!! As long as they stay safe, that's all that matters.
As for that WW diet, I was dubious in the beginning, but there are so many options for compiling great meals, I'm loving it now!!
Take care, Sweetie!!

Well, hello everyone. I had a function to attend today & I quite enjoyed it. Related to the genetic disorder that I am afflicted with that is also related to my sarcoma-cancer. It is always good to connect with positive people who are in a similar boat. Do you know that I am very lucky to be here?
My week off has begun. No trips downtown. No drugs. How nice!

Crazy blizzard like weather here today. Bought a roku 1 on Friday. The basic one is perfect for me. I think the deal is buy 1 from November till Jan 16th get 3 free HD movie rentals from cinema now. Was perfect for today. Ordered Furious 7, Trainwreck (which I have already seen) and the end of the tour.. I watched all 3 back to back.

Just taking a break here at the desktop - it's got a really good straight-backed chair to help ease my back.
Son is over for supper and a visit - we started watching the Golden Globes, but I can't sit around for long in one place, so I'll see any highlights tomorrow.
Big excitement today in our city was the partial demolition of one of our bridges (Saskatoon is the City of Bridges) - it has to be done in sections; they will rebuild a new one in a similar style in a few years.
It was at 9 a.m., so we had our local cable channel on to watch - then, wowsers our windows shook before the explosion came on the tv! So weird.

Nat, sorry about your back. Geez, I can't believe how many of us have back problems.
That demolition of the bridge must have been exciting.

It's cool to see the videos of people watching it there - everyone yells, kids screaming - their faces are neat to watch.
About my back - it's NOT horrid like walkoby's is - but for me, not good. I have to keep a close eye on it so it doesn't get worse; it's the lower back - then my sciatica becomes a problem by the end of the evening.
I'm SO thankful to have my husband around - he will massage me as much as he can, so I'm mobile. Very nice that he can do the same - or better- job than a professional, he just knows the human body very well. Like he knows how all the tendons, ligaments, etc. line up - I don't mean to sound stupid, but just for example, I'll have pain in my foot, and he'll start at my hip, and find where the big owie is to work on...
I've had sciatica ever since I was pregnant with Milan, so husband has been helping me out with this for a very long time, once we figured out that he could do it!
