Well, Loocie, I know that places deep-fry wings in baking powder to get that crispy skin, so why wouldn't it work in the oven? Are you going to try it? I'd have to be off this diet before we give it a try, but it's worth the try; I've otherwise never been happy with oven-fried wings, not even the ones that are frozen and are supposed to some out all sticky and crispy. Ugh...I can't stand squidgy skin on wings!!

Weird question, but is anyone here a hunter or familiar with moose antlers? I have two smaller sized (for a moose, anyway) sets of antlers from my uncle that I was going to try to sell at our garage sale but I don't know what they're worth.

They've got exposed skull holding them together, not mounted on anything. They've been weathered from sitting outdoors, but I guess some people kind of like that.

I was thinking $25 each? People seem to love bones and skulls to decorate with these days, so I think they'll sell. Is that too low or too high? TIA for any info.

Loocie, this is my go to recipe for baked wings, it is really very good.I found it in the fall and never looked for another wing recipe. Make sure you cook them elevated on a rack on the cookie sheet!!

Looks like we're going to get hit with snow equals, etc. - big time. The temps are going to take a nose dive. All that rain water will become an ice rink.

Hello, everyone!!

The kids are driving home from TO today and I'm so scared of the icy conditions that seems to be hitting most of Ontario. Our temps have really taken a nose-dive it's -8 but with the windchill it's like -17! They were stopping off at Georgetown to visit our SIL's brother, wife and new little one, but I hope they leave there early, there's ice heading out way.

It's NFL play-offs day so that's where I'll be: wrapped around the tv! SO exciting!!!! I can't wait to get better so that we can go to another game; maybe Pittsburgh this time...or NY......
