I really hope she's OK.

She posted on Monday, I know her car needed towing, perhaps she's been busy with that; sometimes days just get ahead of us.
I hope all's well with her, too...but I expect her to pop in tomorrow morning..

Hello folks!

Our temp was 20 today. The neighbours asked me if we could bring in their garbage cans- they are going to Florida- Don't they know that snowbirds are supposed to fly NORTH in the spring?

They will have the Arctic Swan watch next week at our local provincial park.

Gotta go DH is heading to bed.

I know what you mean, my sister and her husband just went to Hawaii - odd time to go, I thought.

We have a Pelican Watch here in our city - people guess when the pelicans will appear on the weir in the river that runs through the middle of the city. It's our harbinger of spring! I just checked, and last year it was April 17.

Back on S.C. at last. 1st time since Monday morning.

My bf's DH had a heart attack on Monday morning, so I've been with her. She was a basket case. They were so afraid he wouldn't survive, but he did, and is out of the woods, so I'm back home.

22Hicks, nice to see you back again; I didn't feel that anything was wrong with you for some odd reason, and the fact that you were with a friend-in-need is so typically caring of you. I'm happy your friend's hubby is out of the woods.
One day I'll tell you the story of when my Hubby had his heart-attack....just so scary!

Well, no bird-watching here, folks, no birds singing yet, although a gal in painting class last week said her 'doves' are back for another season, so I suppose that marks some sort of transition into spring.

Busy day, off to painting class!

Weird morning but I got lots done. Bought some groceries at no frills. Dropped almost everything out of my wallet on the floor at pharmacy at the mall. Went to a&w for breakfast. Just ordered their tiny breakfast wrap and when I got it, it looked like they dipped the whole thing in ketchup(was smeared all over outside of it, just so you know it's not supposed to have ketchup inside never mind all over it lol). Get on bus and say thank you as I show bus pass and driver gruffly says yeah good. Then my aunt texts and cancels our lunch.
