@22hicks ...I've attempted to PM you back 3 times!, and I keep getting a notice about a timed-out token or something or other, so evidently I'm not able to send PMs today for SOME odd reason!!
However, Nancy....YAYAYAYAYAY!!!

Good day, folks!
Well the Bell guy came and fixed our Don my phone today! Yeah! AND I learned how to access our mailbox from in the house a d when we are running around.
Unpacked a couple of boxes headed for the "craft and guest room"
Took a run to Goodwill and VV Boutique. Found some stackable shoe thingies and some LArge metal tins that I can store dog food in decoratively.
Walked the dog IN THE RAIN this morning because it was a "Hurray, mum, I don't think I can hold it!" kind of a morning. And I didn't notice it was rAining until we got outside!
I t' s college football on the tube with DH's favourite team actually being shown here.(And, besides the Blue Jays winning- his team is winning at half time.)
The GPS is giving me interesting tours of London.
Would have liked to have gone to the Western Fair today but it has been raining pretty steadily.
Also, the Canadian Country Music Awards are being held here in London. I would like to have taken something in but my back is really acting up. I am not a HUGE Country Music fan but I enjoy it once in a while and I figure these folks are the cream of the country crop.
Got to catch up on my reading.
BFN!

It would be nice if our parks offered more possibilities to people who need help simply accessing a picnic bench to share a picnic with friends & family.

Could NOT agree more, @SillyLoocie! When I was in a wheelchair, sometimes a simple outing like snooping in the shops in our mall was a break; however it just burned me to see someone just pulling up a chair in the food court where that handicapped area was clearly marked!! Because the benches were so close together, getting into an end spot of some table or other was almost impossible and blocked the lane! Some people are so inconsiderate; I guess rules don't apply to them.
Still...looking at that photo, I'm hoping an actual wheelchair can get under that table between those two wide posts...wonder if any planner actually tried...Nope..unless one wants that bean between one's feet...it sure doesn't look like a good fit, but nice of someone to think of it....

wonder what you think of this bean bag but uses memory foam pieces. $238 cad but free shipping.

Save up for a car instead, cabbie! That could buy you half of an old beater

Lol... @cabmonk ...I for one could never negotiate getting into and out of that thing. I think it'll get all out of shape and it certainly doesn't provide any back or any other kind of support. I love my reclining leather sofa...pretty sure you can get a comfy recliner for now much more than that....good for keeping legs up to help circulation and keep down swelling, too!

I'll see because they also had nice futon for $219. The bean bag chair uses memory foam chunks that bounce right back.
Anyway I don't have a drivers license so won't have a car. I don't want a license either. That's just me, my attention span would never allow it lol.

Happy Monday all! Oh the Jays sure have me in a funk! I just cannot focus on anything with them losing like this!! Hope everyone's week starts off great...I am loving these cooler temps in the a.m. during the dog walk.
