The cliquey-ness

This happens everywhere though. Anyone is welcome to jump into any thread, all all threads here are open for new commenters anytime! Some have become great friends or friends IRL and thats great for them.

All forums are like that CB... it's the nature of them, I think. It's just like it is in life- you will get along with some but not with others. I think you fit in here just fine!

There's lots of nice folks on here (& a few grouchy ones who need a smack upside the head - gotta pity them, if they're that cranky doing something fun like posting on an online forum, they must be really really miserable in RL).

There are some really sweet folks on here. I've been lucky enough to make quite a few friends, who I now meet with fairly regularly (a group of us from the Q thread went to a concert recently & will be going to another one in a few weeks, the downtown Toronto group meets for a coupon swap/snack/socializing each month).

Just keep posting, ignore the twits & chat with the nice ones. Oh & imagine the cranky ones tied to a tree & being used as a scratching post by the kitties you know.

So sorry you feel that way - on the whole, SCers are very friendly and open. Even the 20-somethings put up with me, lol!

Maybe you are having this feeling because you are younger than most? However, if you like being on here, keep participating and ignore any who you think aren't making you feel welcome...

I'm losing sleep trying to keep up to all the threads and wondering what deals I might be missing.
