I found this on eBay for under $20 including shipping fees from the states. I love Winnie the Pooh and I call my little guy my 'Hunny Bee' so this was so adorably perfect. DH was not happy and said next year DS, who is only sixteen months, would get to pick out his own costume. LOL.

Ah That must have been one hell of a night I did not dress up, sadly. This Halloween was toned down. Thing Two and I handed out candy and went to see Paranormal Activity 3, which was great.

i've raided my fabric stash.. my 4yr old wants to be a princess this year.. which is fine.. but that means a whole heckload of fabric lol thank goodness for clearance fabric!..i've spent about a week sewing, had to dye trim teal to match the skirt (and ended up with smurf fingers from the dye) today made her bloomers. because ofcourse a little girlie needs to wear bloomers under a hoop skirt lol, thankfully she already has a cape to wear.. i still have to make a matching bag... though i donno if she'll be able to wear it to school.. (it's tricky using the bathroom in a hoop skirt without help lol) so i may have to send her to school in her tinkerbell costume i made her last year

Yahoo son finally said he wanted to be a pirate this year. I was at the Dollar Tree and they have pirate costumes for $1.25. It looks like it will only last this year and the bandanna that is included is too small for his head. But we have lots of those laying around the house, and knowing him he will only want this costume for this year anyways. Can't complain about that price and it saved me a ton of time searching for "army man" clothes.

I'm glad my kids are too young to know they could have a say in their costumes, lol. I got my 18 month old an Old Navy robot costume last year on clearance for $6 and my 4 year old an Old Navy butterfly costume at a garage sale for $4. I love the Old Navy costumes since they are so warm and cosy! I also just sold a bunch of Halloween costumes I had hanging around for $40, which means that the costume I bought for myself (girl version of the Mad Hatter that I bought second hand for $15) didn't come OOP and I still have money to pick up something for my hubby if I come across any good deals!

Last year I bought dd a cat suit from Carter's but she ended up getting sick. Luckily, it still fits this year. I paid $20 for it and the day before Halloween I went back and the same suit was marked down to $6 ! Defiantly keeping this in mind for next time.
